"Tasty Jeju" brings together nature, gastronomy, and storytelling 

in one unforgettable experience. 


Martin Öfner, formerly of 

the three-Michelin-starred 

Zén in Singapore, visits the coastal village 

of Bukchon in Jeju, where he forages for seaweed (umukgasari) and buckwheat, discovering the unique appeal 

of local ingredients.

 

At the Boromwat culinary competition themed around buckwheat, a distinguished panel of chefs—Martin Öfner, Gilles Marchal, Corinne Maeght, and Jongbeom Jeong—comes together to select the winner.
